Andy can boast a wonderfully diverse musical background as both a writer and performer, which is evident in his musical compositions. His songwriting can be poignant or pop, sometimes with a quizzical flair. With lyrics that run the gamut from sensitive love ballad to intense and angular commentary on mental illness, his songs can open the listener's mind and win them over.

With many years of experience as a professional musician, Andy has enjoyed success as theatrical musical director, music educator, arranger, sideman and, naturally, a songwriter. His experience as a vocalist, on keyboards, guitar, bass and/or percussion, allow him to effectively arrange and produce music of all genres.

Along with his popular songwriting, this multi-talented writer has created musical scores for an Off-Broadway production, as well as theater and dance projects. He has also scored and produced music and voice talent for radio and video productions.

Andy performs extensively in the New York tri-state area and is as at home with the intimate jazz trio as he is with high-energy bands. He founded support local songwriters SongwritersBlock to support songwriters and original music venues and NJJazzList , an organization that supports jazz throughout his home state of New Jersey.
