Songwritersblock seeks to promote and inspire the continued creation of original music through performing events, group support and our website (http://www.songwritersblock.com). Through regular public performances, this community of songwriters and composers seeks to encourage its' members at all levels to improve their writing skills, as well as strive for greater "success" and recognition both in the music industry and the public eye. Additional goals include: discovering and creating venues where original music can be performed and heard; promoting individual writers and their original works; providing a 'network' of creative persons to share ideas and performance venues; supporting each other as fellow musicians, listeners and friends to better understand and explore the art and beauty of music creation.
